In the Monty Hall problem, you are asked to choose one of three doors. One hides a car; the other two hide goats. After your choice, the host (Monty) opens an unchosen door to reveal a goat. He then asks if you want to switch doors. You should always switch, as it doubles your odds of winning from 1/3 to 2/3.
