Established in 2010 as 'ModeRNA Therapeutics' they researched gene 🧬 therapy. Their claim is to cure disease using mRNA but to date they have cured 0% diseases. 📍 'Moderna Therapeutics, Inc.' changed its name to 'Moderna, Inc.' in August 2018. (Just about one year before the global pandemic) 📍 Moderna is short for mRNA. 📍 Previously mRNA tests were banned in humans trials due to numerous side effects in animals. 📍 Dr. Boris Nikolic was an early scientific advisor and incubator during the foundational stages of Moderna. A former science advisor to Bill Gates and Harvard-trained immunologist, Nikolic helped shape early development and investments in biotech and mRNA technology spaces.
